Designed2Delight Digi Stamps provided a free autumn wreath digi stamp to everyone this week even if you did not enter last week's The Cat's Meow challenge.
You can also double the fun by using this digi stamp with the additional challenge set by Double Delight Challenges. This week their challenge was easy - use Fall colours (or Autumn colours for all us Brits!).
At first I was a little stumped but with Christmas still ringing in my ears after the last challenge I decided to try and do something a little out of my comfort zone. So heres my efforts:-
Now you may have guseed from previous pics but usually I love using patterned paper and filling all the space on my creations but for this particular image (which can be found HERE) I decided to make the card look like a door by simply drawing on panels using afineliner pen.
I then coloured (using promarkers of course) the digi stamp and cut it out. Using my Crop A Dile I punched two small holes at the top of the wreath and threaded co-ordinating ribbon through. I then stuck this onto my "door" and added a small ribbon bow at the top of the hanging ribbon to add to the wreath look.
Finally I added a stick on gem "door handle" and a matted message which reads "Happy Harvest".
I'm really pleased that I stepped out of my comfort zone as I think the card looks great (and so different to my other creations!). Hope you like it too.
Its going to be sent to my farmer neighbour as he starts his harvesting of his crops. The joys of country living!!
So great Emma!! I love this!! Very creative and fun! Great job!
